Get Gored for Good is a fundraiser like no other!

Get Gored for Good is a fundraiser and festival to benefit Amos House. This is not your average athletic event. After all, at what other events are Providence Roller Derby League members dashing after you wearing horns?!

With your choice of a shorter (1.5 mile) route with obstacles or a full 5k, Get Gored for Good has something for everyone!

The day will begin with registration and warm up. Then, you are OFF! Navigate the route through Downcity Providence at your own pace, with “rollerbulls” on your heels, urging you on. Upon completion, celebrate with your friends at an outdoor after party, featuring great local food, drink, games and live music. Run or walk the route – this event is great family fun for all involved!

The family friendly route is 1.5 miles and filled with fun obstacles for every age and ability level. And new for 2016 – a 5k route for those who want a more challenging experience!

Don’t miss out on this unique Providence event – grab the bull by the horns and get gored for good

Pittonkatonk is music without boundaries. Since 2014, Pittonkatonk is music in public spaces that belong to everyone, with no stage, no doors, and no right way to express yourself. There is no admission fee, no corporate sponsors, and nothing is for sale. It is a potluck event where people bring food, drink, music, dancing, and the desire to come together to celebrate what music and community really can be. We connect people with national and local musicians, activists, and educators in order to empower them to use their love of music to engage the world around them. Our mission is to promote music performance as a means of achieving positive personal, social, and political outcomes.

The Book of Honk! is a wonderful photography project creating portraits at Honk! festivals. We love how they show us in all our red white & shiny glory.
