Join the Band
Interested in Joining the ERB?
We are an open, community-based band and welcome musicians from all backgrounds and all levels of ability to join us.
To help each other to grow in musicianship and create one sound as a band, we rely on consistent attendance from our members and commit a considerable amount of time to practicing and band-related activities.
In addition to playing music, members are actively involved in band governance, decision-making, leadership, costume design, promotion, and future planning.
We are looking for:
Trumpets, saxophones, accordions, euphoniums, sousaphones, flutes, bass drums, trombones, tambourines, snare drums, clarinets, whistles, djembes french horns, cymbals, dancers, flag wavers…
Beginners who are just trying to learn an instrument are welcome, but they will need to feel comfortable with that learning process and understand that it takes effort and time, and we will try to support each other in that process. Each instrumental “section” provides internal leadership to help teach and guide, but more so, each player is responsible for being proactive in their own musical development.
